Projects that have been completed thus far include:

  • The wooden fence at the bus garage entrance was torn down and replaced with a privacy chain link fence

  • Two (2) new lawn mower were purchased

  • Upgraded some technology - more to do still

  • Upgraded some HVAC - more to do still

  • Upgraded water drainage in the HS courtyard

  • New tile installed in the elementary gym

  • New gutters installed on the south side of the varsity gym

  • Awnings/facings changed from maroon to Capac blue

  • New gym floor installed in the Harry C. Moore Memorial Gym (varsity gym)

  • New bell system - this was actually funded by using a Michigan State Police Safety Grant and thus saved spending bond dollars on this item

Proposed Projects

Bond 2022 projects that are being put out for bids this fall include:

  • FFA Barn

  • Elementary 

    • Parking Lot - this will be done late fall of 2024.  This is the parking lot South of Kempf Court street.

    • Casework (counters/cabinets) - lower elementary school.  

      • Includes sinks

    • Doors/Hardware

    • Office - remodel the entire office space

    • Tile for elementary hallways

      • Green/white tiles changed to blue/gold tiles 

  • Jr.-Sr. High school

    • JV gym sanded and repainted to match varsity gym

    • Doors/Hardware - mostly in the 200 & 300 hallways

    • Jr Hi lockers removed and replaced.  These will be blue in color, not maroon

    • Awnings for CVEP and Admin entrances to match the Jr/Sr High School awning

  • District

    • North Ditch - will have a tile in it and leveled off

    • PressBox - will be extended upward with a second story and windows added to the north side for soccer games

    • Ticketbooth - a new, permanent, ticket booth will be built along with some cement work for foot paths for guests.

    • Baseball dugouts - all of the baseball dugouts will be closed in

  • Other bond upcoming bond projects

  • Window treatments throughout the District

  • Furniture for Elementary and Jr.-Sr. High

  • Studio lights for the art room

  • Clocks

  • Storage for band

  • LED lights for the stage

  • Music Acoustic Clam for stage

  • Jr. High coaches locker rooms updated

  • Digital Road signs
