Rite Aid will be here on September 14th in the HS Cafeteria from 8-10:30, on photo day, to conduct a Flu Shot clinic for staff, students, or parents who would like one. Rite Aid's screening questionnaire and consent forms are located in building offices if you are interested. Anyone under 18 must have a parent complete their consent form and bring it with them to the clinic. We do not require nor endorse getting flu vaccinations, it is just a community offering from Rite Aid.

In September we will begin our Who's Your Chief recognition program for the 2023-2024 school year. Here is how it works:
You can recognize an employee of Capac Community Schools (CCS) who has gone above and beyond and nominate him or her for a "Who's Your Chief?" award!
• Any CCS staff member can be nominated.
• Any CCS student, staff, parent, alumni, or community member can make a nomination.
• Nominations must be made by the twentieth of the month for that month's consideration.
The winner for each month will receive $25.00 in Capac Cash that can be spent at local businesses (Thank you to the Board of Education for their generosity) as well as a T-shirt and gift card from the Capac Athletic Boosters. Nominate your favorite Chief at www.capacschools.us under the district tab.
If you are the owner of a local business who would like to accept Capac Cash just give the central office a call ( 810-395-3710) to get on our list of businesses.
A reminder that there is no school this Friday, September 1st, and Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day. All school and district offices are also closed during this time.
PowerSchool Mobile App Directions
Please Note: You must use the web version of PowerSchool to create a Parent Portal account before using the mobile app. Please see Instructions for Creating a New Account that has been mailed to you for more information.

1. Go to the Apple Apps Store and search for PowerSchool. Be sure to select the PowerSchool Mobile app.
2. Follow normal download and installation steps
3. On your home screen, find and tap the PowerSchool icon to access it

1. Go to the Google Play store and search for PowerSchool. Be sure to select the PowerSchool for Parents app.

The first time you launch the PowerSchool Mobile App you will need to associate your account with a specific
server using a District Code found in the lower left hand of the screen.
Complete the sign-in with the username and password that you created when you set up your account.

Dear Capac Community Schools Parent/Guardian:
On Friday, August 25th, we will begin mailing out your personalized information that will allow you to access PowerSchool our new student information system (SIS). The reason for the delay is simple and frustrating at the same time. PowerSchool, when creating access for us, and other districts in the county, failed to give us a school code. Therefore, once you were logged in you would still not have access to your student's information nor would you be able to download the mobile app and have the code to enter which again gives you access.
We have now gained access to our school code and will be mailing your information to you Friday or you may stop into any of the offices and request your personal information access letter.

We received $476.23 this quarter from 149 families participating in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Kroger donates a percentage of your purchases to our schools. Simply visit https://www.kroger.com/, once you are logged into your account search for Capac Community Schools either by name or TQ398 and then click Enroll. New users may create an account with some basic information and a Kroger Rewards Card. Need a rewards card? Visit any Kroger customer service desk.
