Summer Grocery Benefits for Kids
SUN Bucks is the new name for the Summer EBT grocery benefit. Eligible families will receive $120 per child to purchase groceries over the summer.
Once you’re enrolled, SUN Bucks will be automatically added to your SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) account or you will be issued a separate electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card. Note: Families can receive SUN Bucks on top of other nutrition benefits like SNAP and WIC (Women, Infants, and Children.)

Capac Elementary School will hold a Kindergarten Information Night on Thursday, March 6th, from 4-5:00 pm. All incoming Kindergarteners and Developmental Kindergarteners for the fall of 2025 are welcome. Come meet the Principal, and teachers and enjoy some refreshments. Learn about the school, how you can enroll your child, and sign up for Kindergarten Round-Up and Signing Day.

Tomorrow, February 12th, is our second Count Day in Michigan. Count day is when public schools record the number of students in attendance. This information is used to determine how much state funding each school district receives. The February count day accounts for 10% of our funding.
How can you help?
Make sure your student is in attendance all day tomorrow.
