Capac families, there has been another water main break in the village, which has cut off water service coming into most of the district. Due to this unexpected maintenance issue, we will be dismissing all students at 11:09 am. Students will not be transported to TEC today, and all home athletic events, practices (both indoor and outdoor), and afterschool activities are canceled for today.
A portion of the elementary school has lost water due to a village maintenance issue; however, the remainder of the elementary building, Cafetorium, and Jr.-Sr. High School does have water to accommodate students and staff.

Today is a half-day of school with dismissal at 11:09 am. Parent Teacher Conferences are from 12-3:00 and 5-8:00 pm. School will dismiss at 11:09 am, and there is no school on October 10th(Fri).
Wednesday, October 1st, is Count Day in Michigan. "Count Day" is a state-mandated event in Michigan public schools where the number of students in attendance is officially recorded to determine school funding. Student attendance on October 1st directly impacts the per-pupil state aid each district receives. How can you help? Make sure your student is in attendance all day, or if working virtually, completes their assigned work and responds to their mentor.

Our Back to School Carnival is on Wednesday, August 20th, from 7:00-8:00 pm (after Open House) in the bus loop. Each family will receive free entry tickets when they attend Open House and visit all their child's teachers. All Elementary and Jr. High students must be accompanied by an adult.

Bounce House, Carnival Games, Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Refreshments, and much more!

Capac High School Volleyball Tryouts are August 13th and 14th from 3-6:00 pm in the Harry C. Moore gymnasium. You must have a physical with you or turn it in to the HS office before tryouts.
